Medellín Adventure Trails® offers you guided tours on dual-sport motorcycles over both dirt and gravel trails, and the regional roads of some of the most emblematic towns in eastern Antioquia.
You can choose between having a one-day adventure trip or several days of non-stop fun and excitement with our expedition-like tours.
Our headquarters are in Guarne, a small town located in eastern Antioquia (45 minutes from Medellín).

This route is approximately 40 kilometers, its altitude goes between 2500 masl and 2800 masl.

Guatape Motorcycle Tour
This tour is along a dirt road, gravel and pavement that goes between the mountains, you can see a beautiful landscape with different crops and peasant houses in the area. You will be able to see the stone from different angles.
Duration of the tour approximately 6 hours, includes typical lunch of the region.

SAN RAFAEL TOUR
Gravel and dirt lanes, and paved roads that cross through several towns over the mountains of Antioquia's far east. Spectacular views of the dam, El Peñol stone, crops of avocado, corn, tomato and more. We will take a swim at the La Paila pond where we will also have some lunch.

This exciting tour is full of regional culture, local cuisine, adrenaline, curves, waterfalls, and extraordinary views.
Please note that the weather varies considerably due to changes in altitude (cold - 2600 masl / warm - 1500 masl).
Departure at 8:30 AM from our headquarters in Guarne. We'll take a dirt and gravel road from Guarne to San Vicente, 10 kilometers of paved roads with some very exciting curves. Then further along the road, we'll get back to dirt and gravel lanes with beautiful views of the imposing El Peñol stone (where we will enter and take some pictures).
We'll continue on route to San Rafael, where the road is paved in its descent with an impressive mountainous landscape view and rodes filled with fun curves. We will then take a dirt road for approximately 3 kilometers to the La Paila waterfall, there we will take a swim and have some lunch. Returning by paved roads to Guarne.

ALEJANDRÍA TOUR
This route is by dirt and gravel lanes, and paved rodes. We will visit 5 of the most emblematic towns in the area, including a visit to Guatapé, El Peñol stone. San Rafael’s road and puddle, crossing Alto del Medio towards Alejandría, lodging at Hostal Elefante, visiting Concepción’s History Museum.

Departure at 8:30 AM from our headquarters in the municipality of Guarne. Dirt and gravel road from Guarne to San Vicente, 10 kilometers of paved roads with exciting curves. We will then take a dirt and gravel lane with astonishing views of the imposing El Peñol stone (where we will enter to take some pictures).
Continuing the route to San Rafael, where the road is paved in its descent with some impressive mountainous landscape views and rodes full of fun curves. We will them take a dirt road for approximately 3 kilometers to the La Paila waterfall, where we will have lunch and take a swim.
Continuing to the municipality of Alejandría where we will spend the night at Hostel Elefante. On day 2 we will take a bath in the river and we will be heading towards Concepción, a town located 20 kilometers by dirt road. We will visit the town’s Historical Museum. Then back to Guarne, approximately 50 kilometers by dirt and gravel lanes and paved rodes.
